2023
The Dream Begins
Nikolay and Paulina Chotrov plant the seed for KAFFA — a vision to create a coffee brand rooted in heritage, driven by purpose, and designed to change lives.
2024
Farm to Future
We acquire our first 42-acre coffee farm in Ethiopia, the birthplace of Arabica coffee. Organic cultivation begins with a mission to preserve tradition and support communities.
2025
KAFFA Launches Globally
Our premium blends hit the European and U.S. markets. Every bag supports education initiatives — 15% of profits go to children, teachers, and learning centers.
2026
STEM Stories Come to Life
We publish our first line of KAFFA STEM magazines, designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds. Included in every Family Pack, these learning tools inspire the next generation. Plus, for every 3 subscriptions, we donate educational books to schools in rural Ethiopian communities.

From Beans to Big Change
We open KAFFA’s first flagship Culture & Coffee House in Europe — a space that blends Ethiopian tradition, specialty coffee, learning, and purpose. At the same time, our Trees for Generations initiative reaches its milestone: 10,000+ shade trees planted, restoring soil, protecting farms, and teaching children the value of nature and sustainability.

KAFFA Academy is Born
We launch the KAFFA Academy Program, a global initiative that empowers the next generation through STEM education, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking. From hackathons for students to training programs for women in rural regions, KAFFA Academy builds opportunity from the ground up — nurturing young minds, strengthening communities, and blending tradition with future innovation.
